Eastham Real Estate Guide

Why Own Real Estate In Eastham

Visitors and real estate owners alike enjoy the scenic seaside beauty, history, and the wide variety of amenities that Barnstable has to offer. Barnstable Real Estate can be found on both the quiet and busy parts of town. Barnstable is very large, diverse, and centrally located on Cape Cod. It spans a 76 square mile area between the calm waters of Cape Cod Bay and the beautiful beaches of Nantucket Sound.

Quiet residential West Barnstable on the north side of town is home to the magnificent Sandy Neck beach, a six mile long barrier beach. Just to the east is Barnstable Village, which holds the seat of government on Cape Cod, along with historic buildings, shops and a bustling harbor. The area south of Route 6 holds the other five villages. The largest of these is Hyannis – the Cape’s central business district and home to many fine shops, historic buildings, restaurants, hotels and ferries to the islands. Marston Mills, along Route 28, is mainly residential with pretty ponds and cranberry bogs. Osterville, Cotuit and Centerville are quiet residential villages spread along the Nantucket Sound shoreline with gorgeous beaches, inlets and harbors.
